Korean Music

The Jadu is a Korean modern rock band. “Jadu” means “Plum” in Korean. Members of the band are Jadu and Maru, and a former member of The Jadu was Kang Doo.

Kim Sa Rang (born December 3, 1981) is a South Korean rock singer. Kim debuted in 1999 with his first album, I Am 18 Years Old, on which he single-handedly took care of the composition, lyrics, arrangement, and instrumentals. After his second album in 2001, Kim retreated from the public eye, though he continued to work in music production and perform the occasional live gig. Kim made his comeback in 2007 with the release of his third album, U Turn. The album features ten new songs, mostly leaning towards band sound with a relaxing mood, simple guitar arrangements, and emotionally honest lyrics.

Jaurim is a rock band from Seoul, South Korea. They operated on indie scene before 1997, and became major with their first released song ‘Hey Hey Hey.’ They have released seven full-length albums, two unofficial albums, two original soundtracks, and one concert album.

Oathean is a Korean melodic black metal band that formed in 1993 originally under the name Odin, named after the Norse/Scandinavian god. They went on a short hiatus and then changed their name. Oathean’s lyrics include; sadness and depression. They also utilize Korean world music into their songs, using traditional Korean instruments such as the haegeum and daegeum.
