Debuting in 2006, they quickly became popular, and experienced great success in 2007 with the release of their single Lies , shooting the five-member boy band into super stardom as one of the biggest boy bands in Korea. Big Bang have been noted for their music as well as their taste in fashion, becoming famous throughout the country in the process.

When Fly to the Sky first came out, they were seen as a duo that can sing, rap, dance, and often made bubblegum pop and upbeat techno music. Fly to the Sky then changed their image and style with a release of an album back in 2002 which solidified their status to an R&B duo.

Baek Ji Youn is a South Korean pop and ballad singer who was born on March 25, 1976. She began her music career in 1999, making waves in the Korean dance scene with her first album entitled Sorrow. With the success of her first album, she quickly followed it with a second album entitled Rouge, which sold 360,000 copies and made her one of Korea’s most popular female dance artists.

Tony An - Yutzpracachia

Tony An is a South Korean singer who was previously a part of the K-pop boy band H.O.T. After H.O.T. disbanded in 2001, its members including Tony An formed the dance music trio JTL. Since the unofficial disbanding of JTL, they have released their own material, including the video below.

As One is a Korean pop duo composed of Lee Min Young and Crystal Chae. The video below is their first hit, Day by Day, released in 1999 under Rock Records. After their contract with Rock Records expired, they signed up with EMI Korea, the label that also manages other K-Pop stars like Baby Vox.

Lee Min Young was bornon December 15, 1978 in Seoul and went to Fairfax High School in America while Crystal Chae was born on April 29, 1980, was born in the U.S. and attended Chatsworth High School.

Rain’s real name is Jung Ji-Hoon and was born on June 25, 1982 in Seoul. Rain recalls all the hardships he encountered while auditioning for various talent agencies before he finally got accepted and achieved the fame he has now. His singing and dancing prowess are certainly not to be missed, but another plus factor that makes Rain such a big hit all over Asia is his acting abilities. In 2004, his show “Full House” was one of the highest-ranked Korean dramas of all-time, and was also shown in the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, China, Japan, Taiwan and the U.S. He has also won several acting and music awards since his debut in 2002.

TVXQ - Rising Sun

TVXQ is an acronym for Tong Vfang Xien Qi, roughly translated to “Rising Gods of the East,” is a boy band composed of five members. These members, Hero JaeJoong, U-Know Yunho, Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu, and Max Changmin are between the ages of 19-21 and can all sing, dance, do a cappella, and act. Since their debut in 2003 in one of BoA’s shows, the band has released various singles and performed in shows and concerts in Asia.
