J-Walk - Suddenly

J-Walk or jwalk is Korean musical duo formed by two former Sechs Kies members. These members are Jang Su Won on vocals, and Kim Jae Duc on rap and choreography. Just last month, J-Walk collaborated with their former Sechs Kies leader Eun Ji Won on a new song called My Love .

Loveholic - Sky

Loveholic is South Korean modern rock group. Their song Shingiru was used as the ending theme to the Japanese anime Black Blood Brothers. They have participated in many soundtracks, and on October 11 , 2007, the singer and only female of the rock trio Loveholic, Hwang Ji-Sun, will leave the group. She was scheduled to leave after the band’s concerts on the 27th and 28th at the National Museum of Korea in Seoul. Guitarist Kang Hyeon-Min and bassist Lee Jae-Hak, who are busy producing other artists and directing film music, are also planning to release Loveholic’s 4th album. The group is deciding if they will find another permanent vocalist or if they will transform into a project group with different singers.

Yoo Seung-Jun was a popular South Korean pop star of the 90s. He was noted for his high-energy style of dancing, rapping, and singing. He was born in South Korea and moved to the US where he grew up. In 2002, just when he was about to be drafted for the military, he went to the US to become a citizen, which resulted in him being banned to enter Korea as the government considered his act as desertion.

Seo Ji Young is a South Korean singer born on June 2, 1981. She was formerly a member of a Korean pop group before the group broke up back in 2002. As a solo artist, she released two albums, with the second one released January 2007.

With the success of her first album, she quickly followed it with a second album entitled Rouge, which sold 360,000 copies and made her one of Korea’s most popular female dance artists.

The Turtles - Bingo

This post is in tribute to Turtleman, whose real name is Im Sung Hoon. He is part of the trio called Turtles, along with two other female singers, Z-E who is a rapper, and Su Bin, the group’s vocalist.

Reports stated that Turtleman was found dead in his sleep due to a heart attack in his home in Seoul, when a manager came to pick him up for a schedule. His death came as a surprise as we was always seen happy and active, and many celebrities of the K-Pop world attended his funeral.
