Fin.K.L – Forever Love
Monday, January 28th, 2008Fin.K.L was a K-pop girl group composed of four members that debuted in 1998. Their name means Fine Killing Liberty and was intended to mean that the group stood against the oppression of all freedom. Their name was chosen through a vote among young people of the record company even before the group was formed. Along with S.E.S., they were one of the popular girl groups in Korean pop music.
Fin.K.L won numerous music awards until the group’s abrupt end in 2002, wherein the members of the group chose to pursue solo careers in different areas. They regrouped in 2005 for a digital single, but disbanded again and there is no official word on the group’s status.
